Overview

nummz ("the App", "we", "us") is a personal finance management application developed by nenspace. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data We Collect

nummz does not collect any personal data. All data you enter — accounts, transactions, budgets, debts, and settings — is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device.

The following data exists only on your device and is never transmitted:

• Account names and balances
• Transaction records and categories
• Budget configurations
• Debt tracking entries
• Shopping lists
• App preferences and settings
• Backup files you export manually

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, access, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Financial account credentials or banking information
• Any data to third-party servers

App Permissions

nummz requests the following Android permissions and uses them solely for the stated purpose:

• Camera — used optionally for scanning receipts or documents via OCR. Photos are processed on-device and are never uploaded.
• Storage / Files — used to let you choose a folder when exporting a backup file, and to read a backup file during restore. The App only accesses files you explicitly select.

No permission is used for any purpose other than what is described above.

Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored in a local SQLite database within the App's private storage sandbox on your Android device. This storage is not accessible to other apps without root access.

Backup files exported through the App are encrypted using a password you provide. Without the correct password, the backup file cannot be read or restored.

Deleting the App from your device permanently removes all associated data. We have no ability to recover it.

Third-Party Services

nummz does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with or sold to third parties.

The App includes an optional on-device AI assistant powered by a local language model (llama.rn). This model runs entirely on your device — no queries or responses are sent to any external server.

Children's Privacy

nummz does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App does not collect personal data from any user regardless of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Since the App does not collect contact information, we cannot notify users of changes directly. We recommend checking this page periodically.
